Taking inspiration from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings legendarium, Ghül aims to drape the listener in ritualistic darkness and shadow with first track Where The Shadows Lie from a forthcoming full-length album, and will be one of many songs performed in the Black Speech of Mordor.
Immediately from the outset the rawness is there but also lingering in the background is a darkness that seems intent on breaking though that adds another dynamic the track an ominous feel to it that which is fitting for the theme and aesthetic.
The concept of using the Black Speech of Mordor or Dark Tongue of Mordor has me already immediately invested, as Sauron’s greatest creation will be invoked once more…
